At
OESE our pedagogy promotes enthusiasm for scientific inquiry by
actively engaging children in the scientific process.
Carefully selected experiential and cooperative lessons make
science fun and connect students to their natural
environment. Bordering the San Bernardino National Forest,
our 2,200 acre outdoor classroom is ideal for lessons in bio
diversity, ecology, fire ecology, astronomy, geology,
wildlife biology, threatened and endangered species,
environmental education, and sustainable life. |

In
addition, students will participate in outdoor leadership
activities designed specifically to promote self-esteem,
confidence, and social skills. The Outdoor Challenge Course
and Indoor Rock Wall are a favorite among teachers and students
alike. |
